I've decided to use this legacy app and deal with not having the latest cool updates that would come. Though I know some folks are upset that the app all the sudden went to subscription-based, I am actually someone that honestly agrees that in order to keep quality up there is a cost and subscriptions are the current method for that.

The update came just before the recent debut of Airmail for iOS.Īirmail continues to offer support for iCloud, Microsoft Exchange, Gmail, Google Apps, Yahoo!, AOL, and accounts, as well as any generic IMAP or POP3 servers, and multiple accounts can be presented individually or as a unified inbox, while still allowing you to retain unique signatures for every account and alias you setup.

You can also now resize images in attachments, and a new smart unread selection helps you manage your inbox more effectively. The latest version adds support for OS X El Capitan, along with a totally redesigned app menu, new shortcuts, and a snooze feature akin to the now-defunct Mailbox. We liked the look and feel of Bloop’s Airmail email client for Mac when it debuted a couple of years ago, and now Bloop is back, taking it to the next level with Airmail 2.6 for Mac ($10).
